The Perfectly Simple Business Plan

Why THIS Business Plan?

This is the UNIQUE Fill-in-the-Blanks, Check-the-Boxes Plan that YOU create for YOUR business…
It’s easy to understand! No confusing language or “accountants’ jargon.”

Why did I build this Perfectly Simple Business Plan?

I’m an ideas person; I love strategising, creating and seeing ideas come to life. Building businesses of my own and helping others do that too is a big part of my life.

I’ve owned 11 businesses over 35 years. Initially, I knew I needed help with business plans but the only help I could get seemed dry dusty and boring – no-one was engaging ME and asking ME questions I could answer.

I could feel my energy dropping with each question they asked.

Before there were business coaches, I sought help from bankers and accountants and government agencies but their confusing “insider-speak” questions left me feeling dumb, inadequate, overwhelmed and uninspired. I’m no dumb-bunny – these are NOT feelings I enjoy!

Why do people have to make this so difficult – when it’s really not?

I just wanted to produce the kind of plan that I could get my teeth into; something that reflected my excitement and enthusiasm for my growing business.

Now, maybe you’re a whiz-kid at this stuff, but I’ve worked with hundreds of business owners and I’ve discovered that the majority of business owners aren’t good with planning – and I’ve coached enough accountants and lawyers to know that even they struggle with business planning!

Fear and doubt can be crippling. You might feel you lack the expertise to know if your ideas are good or not; you’re not sure exactly what will pay off.

Getting out of your own head to bounce some ideas around can be cathartic. It’s true that you don’t know what you don’t know.

You need to be asking questions like…

  • What are we really good at?
  • Does that match with what our customers really want?
  • Who and what are we competing with?
  • How can we use disruption do things differently?
  • Where are the pitfalls, what are the opportunities?
  • If we take that course of action, where here will it lead?
  • Is that what we really want or will it make us busier and life a little crazier?

If you KNOW you need a business plan but never quite got around to doing it…

If you need to update your existing business plan because your business is significantly different from where you started…

If you’ve tried and given up because you’ve always found planning just so mind crushingly boring or difficult…

…then you could probably use a little guidance and a super simple system to get it done and dusted so you can get back to work, right?

This is not a lifeless document that will gather dust on a shelf. You are creating a very bright future for yourself, your family, your customers and your employees.

I’ve put together a simple system to help you do exactly that – describe your business, your life, your customers the way YOU want those things to be.

It’s called The Perfectly Simple Business Plan.

Would you like to see how it works?
